When it comes to climate, time isn’t on our side. We have to act—now. Today is a great day to step up. Another thing: Don’t let anyone tell you this is an unsolvable problem. That’s bananas. Solutions exist—and we’re cranking away at them.

POW is uniquely positioned to tackle our trickiest climate problems with a full-send approach, and our team of Alliance members is leading the charge. We’re negotiating with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, mobilizing the Outdoor State™—the 175 million Americans who care about the outdoors—to tackle critical issues like emission reduction, protecting public lands and a just transition to a clean energy economy.

Won Campaigns

We’ve been bagging wins, too. We helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, the most significant climate legislation in U.S. history. We’ve successfully protected cherished public land in places like Alaska and Colorado from fossil fuel extraction. And we’ve worked with decision makers from banks to utility boards to enact climate solutions from the federal to the local level. We got this.
