Nico Schiavone

Animation Artist

Nico is an animation artist born in Durango, now based in Brooklyn. He has contributed animations to various POW (Protect Our Winters) projects. Nico is thrilled about collaborating with Chris Blevins and several other artists, both within and outside the POW alliance, on a fully animated piece for the organization.

Nico is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Durango, Colorado that works primarily in animation and live performance. Nico has been an artist for a number of projects. From Lady Gaga’s world tour to Louis Vuitton and Dior exhibitions to Global Esports events but he is truly proud to have been a collaborator on a number of other POW projects such as Punchline by Dan Holtz and Kaare Iverson and Usufruct by Adam Wells, Andy Cochrane and Dillon Osleger. Climate change and preservation is something that sits close to Nico after observing the drastic impact that climate change and extractive economies have on the place you grow up. Nico is looking forward to using animation in combination with the beautiful cinematics of our world’s landscapes to express spiritual scientific and artistic concepts that can often escape us when we don’t abstract reality.
