Micheli Oliver is a photographer, filmmaker and activist based on the road in the Western United States. Oliver’s work centers BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and femme voices and her vocation is to facilitate connection with the world we all come from and to help folx fall in love with the land we must protect. She works to create safe spaces for honest and joyful storytelling using many creative mediums to do so. The stories she is trusted with are told with compassion, consent and reciprocity. Everything Oliver does is to build bridges with story and to bring humxns back toward a relationship with the land.
Oliver’s first film “Provide” premiers summer 2023 and she has additionally worked as the stills photographer on “Spirit of the Peaks” by WonderCamp and “Who Is a Runner” by Camp4Collective. Her photo and writing work is published in Backcountry Magazine, Powder Magazine, Freeskier Magazine, Sisu Magazine and has been featured with Fujifilm, Patagonia, Hydroflask, Solomon, Backcountry, REI and more.
