I am a 2022 Winter Olympian in the sport of Nordic Combined. I am from Park City, Utah and have been an outdoor athlete ever since I can remember. I started alpine skiing at the age of two, and began Nordic combined skiing at age nine. Nordic combined has been my passion for more than half of my life, and I have had unbelievable opportunities because of my sport. I have been on the US National Team since 2018, competed at World Championships in both 2019 and 2021, and represented the US at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. My experiences as a professional skier have exposed me to the realities of climate change, which led me to pursue an education related to environmental science. In the summer of 2022, I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors of Science in Geography, as well as a minor in Environmental Science and a minor in Sociology. My goal is to use my experiences as a skier and my education in geography and environmental science to pursue a career that allows me to advocate for environmental protection and preservation long past my professional ski career ends.
In addition to Nordic combined, I am a passionate backcountry skier, rock climber, mountain biker and trail runner. I also work at a coffee shop in Park City and am the self-proclaimed best barista in Utah.
