Fiona’s love for the outdoors and athletics began with her hate for them: being bribed to “uphill” ski for an hour in exchange for Swiss Miss hot chocolate. Eventually, she became obsessed with running and skiing and started competing in both. In high school, she raced to two All-American titles and one national relay championship in Nordic. Later, she led her cross country team to a national championship and had two All-American finishes. She learned the power of the athletic stage with advocacy when she began writing blogs about body positivity and training for Runnerspace (one of the country’s top running networks). When she is not consuming borderline illegal amounts of peanut butter or romping around in the Deschutes National Forest, she is editing her high school’s nationally ranked paper. She now runs for Princeton University and is planning on majoring in Environmental studies and Sociology.
