Born and raised on the central coast of California, Suzannah spent her childhood exploring tidepools and trails along Big Sur’s rocky coastline. This deep-rooted love for the natural world led her to a career in the outdoor industry, where she worked for some of the leading brands and influential voices within the industry. These experiences shaped her perspective on the interconnectedness of outdoor recreation, society and business and the need for responsible practices and policies to combat the effects of climate change.
Suzannah’s desire for new opportunities and adventures led her and her husband to Europe, where they lived and worked for six years in The Netherlands and Italy. During this time, Suzannah immersed herself in the rich heritage and diverse landscapes of these countries, which further deepened her commitment to advocating for the protection of people & planet.
Suzannah recently relocated to Boulder, Colorado where she is proud to join the POW team in advocating for a brighter, more sustainable future.
In her free time, you can find her rock climbing, practicing yoga, learning Italian and giving her 11-year old Border Collie the best adventure-pup life possible.
